Chiluvuru Village

The farmers in Chiluvuru main cultivators of Paddy, Maize, Banana,Turmeric, Lemon, Sapota and also some seasonal vegetables etc.

Lemon The yellow/Greenness of lemon, one of the major horticulture crops of the village. Lemons are cultivated to a limited extent in India but it is a good sign that the area under lemon cultivation is increasing day by day.

Spota In India, it is called chickoo, sapota, being a tropical crop can be grown from sea level up to 1200 m. above m.s.l. It needs warm (10-380 C) and humid climate (70% relative humidity) for growth and can be cultivated throughout the year. Coastal climate is best suited for its cultivation.

Chiluvuru is "First Rajiv Internet Village" in India, when Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy inaugurated it on August 20, 2004. That Credit goes to "Mr. Devi prasad Katragadda" and "Mr. Devi Prasad Katragadda" who was born in Chiluvuru Village in Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh.

Mr. Katragadda Venkata Subbaiah garu father of Mr. Devi prasad Katragadda rendered many useful services to his village. His brother Mr. Krishna prasad Katragadda is a prominent NRI businessman who shares a similar vision with his brother; he has rendered prominent service to the development of rural India through “Katragadda Charities”.

The Devi prasad Katragadda Foundation has started e-governance programs in Chiluvuru Village with the help of state Government. The e-governance program help the young stars in and around Chiluvuru Village to improve their knowledge and Skills.It is also very helpful to the students those who are studying in KVS High School .Unfortunetely on December 2015 on wards it was Closed, it didn't provide any service to the students as well as villagers

Yadla Nalini Knowledge Center

Some people are very fond of books and collect them to satisfy their thirst for knowledge. They go to public libraries which are open to all and anybody can go and read the books.

Yadla Nalini Knowledge Center has two sections generally. One is the reading-room section and the other is the issue section. In the reading-room varieties of newspapers, weeklies, and monthly magazines are placed on the tables. Anybody can go and read them. A catalog of books is maintained by the librarian. Everybody can consult this catalog and get any book issued for reading in the reading-room.

It is a fit place for close and careful study. Here, there is no disturbance and everybody can read with rapt attention.The library helps a good deal in spreading knowledge and education. People can derive benefit from these books by consulting them in the library.

There is great need for opening a library in each village. Only then can the huge illiteracy prevailing in Indian villages be removed. Our sincere thanks to Trust, volunteers, members and villagers who made Yadla Nalini Knowledge Center.
